Ballistic-Shotgun Breaching

In today’s age of policing the streets of America, tactical officers may need to gain entry to a fortified structure in a rapid timeframe. A role that has been traditionally held by mechanical breaching tools may be undertaken by the breaching shotgun under certain circumstances. This 1-Day course provides the officer with the tools needed to determine if, and when, the breaching shotgun should be deployed and to select the appropriate specialized ammunition. It begins with an introduction to the weapon and progresses through tactical simulations deploying the breaching shotgun with live ammunition.
