This course begins where the Advanced SWAT course left off. Emphasis is placed on tactics utilized to handle scenarios where human life hangs in the balance. In situations where hostages have been taken, and demands given, time may not be on the side of the SWAT Team. This course delivers tactics utilized to bring a successful outcome to hostage scenarios. This is a high-intensity course which is physically demanding.
You will be put into a live-fire shoothouse with decision making targets.
BE ADVISED… This is NOT a 9 to 5 training program with a break on every hour for coffee and donuts. Training days will be 10 hours (or more) in duration.
It is expected that officers are proficient, and qualified with the weapons they bring to the course. This is NOT a basic marksmanship course.
This is NOT Boot Camp. However, this is a high-intensity, extremely fast-paced course which is physically demanding. Students are expected to be in good physical condition prior to arriving.
