In today’s age of policing the streets of America, law enforcement officers need quality weapons training to enable them to provide accurate fire onto targets without endangering innocents in the immediate area. The department’s firearms instructor is implemental in officers’ training to achieve this goal. The firearms instructor needs to be able to provide quality instruction in both weapon systems the department deploys onto the streets, whether it be handguns, and/or shotguns. The firearms instructor also runs qualifications for department personnel to ensure standards are met to assist in alleviating departmental liability concerns. This 5-Day course is designed to provide the attendee with the tools needed to train and/or qualify their personnel in the use of both weapons systems. Time will be allotted for personal skill improvement, but the majority of the course will concentrate on instructional techniques.
Attendees should be above-average shooters as this is an INSTRUCTOR LEVEL course. It is NOT designed to bring below-average shooters up to par.
