The Noise / Flash Diversionary Device (NFDD), commonly referred to as a “Flashbang,” is an essential piece of life-saving equipment to tactical teams. The use of these devices can be extremely effective, making the mission safer for both the officers and the suspects. However, misuse of these devices can be devastating. This course provides the needed information to correctly deploy these devices in a safe and effective manner. Proper use and safety gear will be stressed. Attendees will be exposed to both sides of the device… the tactical team’s perspective deploying the device and the effects upon a suspect when the device is deployed in the structure.
