Michigan Concealed Pistol License
Unfortunately the world is not getting any safer. One look at the headlines and you can see violent crime is more than prevalent not only in big cities but also in small towns all across America. Regardless of the statistics of the day, violent crime is on the rise.
You have decided to take charge of your own security. We applaud you. This course complies with Michigan’s laws and regulations to obtain your Concealed Pistol License (CPL). Our instructors provide the training and information for you to obtain your CPL. We also let you know when you can legally use your pistol in self defense, and when you cannot. Insight into what happens if you ever have to use the pistol in self defense will also be provided.
Our goal is to prepare you to defend yourself in a worst-case scenario, and then to also survive the legal aftermath of the criminal investigation. Our instructors for this course are police officers that have conducted numerous investigations into shootings, both legal self defense and homicides. Many of them have been involved in shootings themselves, and can provide personal insight into the ramifications of defending yourself in today’s society.
This course consists of both classroom lectures and live-fire range drills. Emphasis will be put on the legal use of force and putting accurate rounds safely on target.
Again, our goal is to train you to survive a lethal encounter.
