Assault Rifle Operator
The assault rifle is a specialized weapon to be used during certain critical incidents in place of the handgun and/or shotgun when targets are at greater distance or higher firepower is needed.
This civilian course mirrors our Law Enforcement/Military Assault Rifle Operator course with the exception of not including fully-automatic fire. The LE/MIL course is used to certify Law Enforcement Officers to carry a rifle during their duties of protecting the streets of America. The same training will be provided to civilians in this course.
This course will consist of the specifics of the assault rifle, the proper handling, carrying, loading, unloading, reloading, and firing of the assault rifle, and will also include some pistol work. Once the basics are learned the course will progress to more advanced drills, pushing the shooter to new levels with the rifle.
This course is both mentally and physically demanding. It will consist of both lecture and live-fire training with a high round count.
