Building Entry Techniques For Patrol & Narcotics Officers

MCOLES Approved

(2 Days)

Patrol officers are called upon to make entries into buildings on a daily basis… everything from an open door on an alarm call, to a call for help inside a home. Unfortunately most patrol officers have not received adequate training in proper building entry tactics.

Narcotics officers execute search warrants on a regular basis, but some receive minimal training on the appropriate techniques to conduct these raids safely. This course delivers the tactics utilized to make a safe entry to a building and the appropriate search techniques to locate the perpetrator(s). This course delivers training similar to SWAT entry tactics.

This course is designed specifically for Patrol Officers and/or Narcotics Investigators, but will be useful to any officer that may be executing search warrants (Detectives, Supervisors and SWAT members).
