This course is designed for the officer assigned to a Special Weapons & Tactics (SWAT) Team, or an officer looking to obtain a position on a tactical team. This course will also benefit Narcotics officers assigned to a raid team, or patrol officers wishing to receive advanced techniques that may be called upon during their duty shift in today’s violent times. It is our belief that ALL police officers should be tactically trained.
The course curriculum covers equipment selection and deployment, advanced pistol and sub-machinegun/assault rifle/shotgun use, breaching techniques, building entry tactics, and mission planning. The course finishes with multiple fast-paced scenarios with role-players designed to test you and your abilities. You will be put into a live-fire shoothouse with decision making targets.
BE ADVISED… This is NOT a 9 to 5 training program with a break on every hour for coffee and donuts. Training days will be 10 hours (or more) in duration.
It is expected that officers are proficient, and qualified with the weapons they bring to the course. This is NOT a basic marksmanship course.
This is NOT Boot Camp. However, this is a high-intensity, extremely fast-paced course which is physically demanding. Students are expected to be in good physical condition prior to arriving.
