This 3-day (21 hours) course is designed as an introduction to the assault rifle. The assault rifle is a specialized weapon to be used during certain critical incidents in place of the handgun and/or shotgun when targets are at greater distance or higher firepower is needed. This course will consist of the specifics of the assault rifle, the proper handling, carrying, loading, unloading, reloading, and firing of the assault rifle. It will consist of both lecture and live-fire training.
