Most officers have received some form of Active Shooter response training. This course will provide advanced dynamic training to take the standard response to a new level. These techniques will accelerate the response team’s movements, while making it safer to do their job. Responders will advance on a suspect in a more rapid fashion than in previous training. These techniques will make room clearing quicker, and take officers out of the hallway, while still being able to cover their areas of responsibility. This is a high-intensity course which is physically demanding. As this course starts where most other active shooter courses finish, participants must have graduated from a certified Active Shooter course prior to attending this training.
